A follow up to my trip to Ecuador:
I also visited a school along the coast where we did workshops with teachers and students.
We visited the cloud forest at Bellavista Preserve and saw amazing birds and animals. Two of my favorites were the Masked Trogons and the Tropical Jays. We went to Isla de la Plata and saw the Blue-Footed Boobies. They were awesome.

My big event this summer was going to Ecuador with Heifer International and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. It was an amazing experience. We saw some beautiful country. Like the town of Otavalla with this huge Volcano looming in the background. They had this huge market where you could buy all these beautiful things made from Alpaca wool.

We also saw Volcanoes.



And played on the beach.

We met Alpacas and flute-playing Herders.
